Dig For Eggs Tier Lists
Rank shovel power and pet income roles from early game to Zero.
Dig For Eggs progression is a shovel economy funded by pets. Dirt hardness and dig speed scale with your equipped shovel’s power multiplier, while equipped pets print the cash—including offline—to climb that ladder. This Tier List Hub explains how we bucket the 14 shovels into S / A / B / C tiers, where pet income roles fit, and which leaf pages hold the detail.
For row-by-row shovel prices and multipliers, open the Shovel Tier List. For pet volume earners versus trophies, open the Pets Tier List. For narrative shovel timing, use the Shovel Guide. For cash planning, see Make Money Fast.

Shovel Tier List
Complete 14-shovel table with dig power and costs from Basic (1x, free) to Zero (30x, $200Qa). Notes that Grey’s cash cost is often unlisted clearly—verify in the live shop.
Pets Tier List
S/A/B/C framing for pet income roles (volume earners vs trophy pets) without invented coins-per-second stats. Pair with Pets for equip/sell ops.
How shovel tiers are ranked
Criteria focus on progression value, not flex rarity alone:
- Raw dig power multiplier (1x → 30x)
- Cash cost versus income from pets at that stage
- How long you are expected to hold the shovel before the next buy
- Whether a tier is a required bridge (almost every shovel is a bridge) or a long-term keeper
PvP is not a factor—Dig For Eggs is a Simulation/Tycoon dig loop for up to 8 players per server, centered on eggs, pets, and offline cash.
Tier overview (shovels)
S tier — endgame multipliers
Transcendent (25x) and Zero (30x) sit at the top. Zero costs $200Qa and is the current ceiling for dig power. Transcendent at $55Qa is the last major step before Zero. Full numbers live on Shovels.
A tier — heavy mid-late power
Godly (20x, $15Qa), Divine (14x, $4Qa), Eternal (10x, $200T), and Secret (7x, $4T) deliver transformative dig speed for players who already have strong pet income. Skipping order is rarely worth it—the cash walls are the difficulty, not the UI.
B tier — acceleration core
Galaxy (5x, $80B), Red (4x, $2B), Golden (3.5x, $60M), and Purple (3x, $2M) are where sessions start feeling fast compared to early game. Pair purchases with hatch codes from the Codes Hub when your plot is full.
C tier — early ladder
Basic (1x, free), Grey (1.5x), Green (2x, $3k), and Blue (2.5x, $75k) teach the loop. Buy Green as soon as $3k is reliable; confirm Grey’s live price because community lists often omit a stable number. Blue is the first chunky wall that teaches pet offline earnings.
Pet roles in one paragraph
Shovel tiers answer “how hard do I dig?” Pet tiers answer “can I afford that?” Volume earners belong in equip slots; trophies belong on the shelf during money goals. Full role framing: Pets Tier List. Egg triage before hatch: Egg Rarities.
How to use the tiers in a session
- Identify your current shovel on the full table.
- Check the next multiplier jump and cash cost.
- Estimate pet income—if offline earnings clear the cost overnight, prioritize hatching and plot space (Hatch Eggs, Plot Expansion, Pets).
- If you are far from the next buy, dig under temporary power/luck codes instead of rage-buying cosmetics (Dig Deeper).
- Revisit this hub after patches—shovel prices or pet earn rates can shift; track notes on Updates.

Scripts that auto-dig can look like a shortcut around low-tier shovels; they add ban risk and are covered separately on the Scripts Hub. Tier lists assume legitimate play.
